At Mater Mothers' Private Brisbane we believe that being well-informed is crucial to your wellbeing and peace of mind, and our team, including our obstetricians, midwives and lactation consultants will be available at the Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo to discuss your journey through parenthood and assist with pregnancy, birth and newborn care related questions.
It’s also a great opportunity to find out about the new Mater Mothers’ Parenting Support Centre which offers early parenting support and guidance for parents up to six months after the birth of their baby. The centre offers a holistic assessment of mothers and babies by a highly trained Mater doctor, individual lactation consultants, sleeping and settling consultants, general parenting advice and support, physiotherapy, psychological support including a postnatal wellness group and educational workshops.
You can also learn more about our recently opened, purpose-built 24/7, Pregnancy Assessment Centre to care for women from the very beginning of pregnancy through until six weeks after the baby has been born. Queensland’s first Pregnancy Assessment Centre provides around the clock care for any woman who needs help from day one of pregnancy until six weeks after birth.
