Mater Mothers breastfeeding web chat this Tuesday

Mater Mothers will host a live web chat with Mater midwives and lactation consultants Judy Cunningham and Susie Oram next week.

Judy and Susie will be online from 10 – 11 am on Tuesday 25 February to answer breastfeeding related questions, including feeding patterns, milk supply and also any other questions you have about pregnancy or the early days of parenthood. 

To take part in the web chat you must be a member of the online Mater’s Mothers’ Group, a free support network where you can share your knowledge, experience and the joys of motherhood, as well as make friends with like-minded mums.

About Judy Cunningham
Judy Cunningham is a Child Health Nurse, Registered Midwife and Lactation Consultant with significant experience helping mothers and babies with breastfeeding. Judy has a particular interest in providing support for mothers with babies in the Neonatal Critical Care Unit. Judy completed a joint project on tongue-tie in 2012 with Susie Oram, and has spoken on this topic at conferences in Australia and internationally.

About Susie Oram
Susie Oram is a Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant with over 20 years’ experience helping mothers and babies with breastfeeding. Susie has a special interest in facilitating breastfeeding when babies have been born premature, unwell or requiring surgery after birth. Susie completed a joint project on tongue-tie in 2012 with Judy Cunningham, and has recently spoken on this topic at conferences in Sydney and Thailand and Melbourne.
