New luxury options for Mater mums

Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane has introduced new luxury options for mums birthing at Mater Private as part of its The Caring Continues program including a luxury stay at Emporium Hotel South Bank.

The Emporium Hotel  package is one of three options available to mums who are ready to transition home and provides elegant surroundings for those who want to bond with baby in style.

Medical Director, Mothers Babies and Women’s Health Dr Mike Beckmann is excited for this new service to be available.

“A stay at the Emporium is a premium option for our private patients and just one of a number of options available for those birthing privately at Mater.”

Privately insured mums who are seeking an alternative option to staying in hospital are able to access ‘The Caring Continues’ packages as long as they are well enough to be discharged by their obstetrician and paediatrician.

For mums choosing this option, they’ll be privately chauffeured from Mater Mothers’ Private Brisbane to the Emporium Hotel South Bank where they’ll spend two night’s accommodation in a river view room. All the creature comforts of a boutique hotel will be available, including three room-service meals a day for mum that can be ordered at any time. The room service meals provided are unique to Mater Moments at Emporium guests and are just a taste of the impeccable service mums can expect from Emporium Hotel South Bank.

Mums will also enjoy the security of having a midwife or nurse on-site 24/7 to help with any questions. This will ensure their Mater Moments at Emporium experience will be as safe, stress-free and as memorable as possible.
