House for Life charity home ready to be sold

If you are in the market for a new home, make sure you look at this year’s House for Life which goes under the hammer in a no reserve charity auction on 8 September, with proceeds going to Mater Little Miracles.

The stunning 51sqm home boasts four bedrooms, all with ensuites, five living areas and an undercover alfresco area with a pool.

The stunning bespoke Hampton’s style home is based at The Surrounds, a Villawood Properties community at Helensvale.

This House for Life marks the eighth home that Plantation Homes has built and auctioned, with all proceeds going to Mater Little Miracles, and the inaugural year partnering with Villawood Properties, which donated the land.

Ninety-six trades and suppliers have donated their time and resources over eight months to build this special family home.

Mater Foundation Executive Director of Philanthropy Lesley Ray encouraged people to visit the home to see it for themselves. 

“It truly is very special.  It’s the largest and most luxurious House for Life that we have had and we look forward to auction day when we witness this beautiful house sold to a family.

“The winning bidder will not only own this beautiful residence, they will also be supporting the 2000 seriously ill and premature babies that are cared for in Mater’s Neonatal Critical Care Unit each year.

“We are sincerely grateful to Plantation Homes for their ongoing support of this project over the years and also Villawood Properties for coming on board and generously donating the prime block of land.

“A special thank you must go to the many trades and suppliers who built this House for Life, which for some is their eighth project.”

The community is encouraged to attend the charity auction which will also be a family fun day with plenty activities planned for children.
