June's bumper baby month

June 2017 proved to be a bumper baby month at Mater Mothers’ Hospitals! 923 babies were born with the biggest numbers born on:

• Wednesday 14 June = 47
• Thursday 29 June = 41
• Friday 30 June = 42.

With numbers like that, it’s no surprise that the daily average for June was 31 babies per day.

Spare a thought for everyone who worked at Mater Mothers during June! Those spring romances certainly sprung a few surprises…
